In order for me to teach reading skills to a small group of students I need organized independent-work centers. These storage tubs will allow me to get all 6 independent-work centers up and running smoothly with the students being able to manage the independent learning materials by themselves. Engaged students need a variety of tools, manipulatives and media content to get to deeper understandings. A external CD/DVD drive will help our K-1 team in showing digital content to our students for a more enriched learning experience. Our new computers are super fast and amazing, yet they are unable to play CD/DVDs, hence the need for an external drive.
