Listening skills are a vital skill children need as they develop in life. Students must be able to listen to the speaker, understand what the speaker is saying, and making a judgement based on what they understand. I am requesting a Comfy Listening Center to help my students increase their listening skills. By providing a comfortable environment, student will be actively engaged while listening to a story being read to them. Listening to stories will also not only increase listening skill but increase comprehension and fluency skills. Listening to stories will also make exposing students to different genres a little easier.

About my class
