Technology is incorporated into almost every field of adult careers. Students need to be exposed to technology at an early age in order to gain technological skills. Unfortunately, students in my school are not exposed to much technology until they are in 2nd grade. By then, they have lost the advantage that higher income district students have already learned such as beginning typing skills, web browsing, and researching. I wish for my students to have the same advantages as students of more privileged districts. There are many educational websites and educational games my students can utilize with these iPads. I have also registered my students for a reading program called "Reading Eggs" and would love for them to all be able to sign on and use it daily. As of now, only a few students can log in from home to complete this beautiful program.
