  • Social Emotional Game Time!

    Funded Jan 1, 2022

Thanks to your generosity my students now have so many options to choose from on our Fun Friday choice time! They were all so thrilled to learn that about your selflessness. It brought so much joy to our classroom community and created so many wonderful learning and socializing opportunities.

Students are now participating in our game time by learning to interact with each other, take turns, and are overall learning so many important life lessons. Not to mention they are interacting with each other in more creative ways!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cole

  • Help Provide a Book for our Reading Nook!

    Funded Oct 22, 2021

Our classroom library has grown so much with your help! The students were beyond thrilled to learn that you generously gifted them with wonderful books for our library nook.

Over the last few weeks, the students have already been able to dive into the fictional worlds of the characters in the stories. Their love for reading has grown so much with books on topics that they genuinely enjoy.

With your help, the students are now gravitating towards all of the new donated books and are cozying up in our library nook!

Thank you once again for all of your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cole

  • Today's Readers, Tomorrow's Leaders

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

Your generosity has impacted my students in such a big way. At the start of this reading unit, my students did not have the books that they needed to conduct their research projects. With your kind donations, we were able to provide each student with the books they needed to participate in the research.

Each group was assigned a different extreme weather topic to learn about. The students were thrilled to work together to investigate their topics. They gained so much valuable information along their research journey.

After weeks of research, the students completed group projects on each of their topics. They were able to share their knowledge with the rest of the class through presentations.

Thank you once again for all of your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cole

  • Time Flies When We Have Supplies!

    Funded Apr 12, 2018

We are truly grateful for your generosity. Your donations have allowed us to work on so many wonderful projects this school year. Our students are especially proud of their chapter books that they created about the American Revolution. The students were able to type up their chapter books and print them out using the paper and ink that you helped fund. Our students were thrilled to become published author's for the very first time in their school careers.

Our students also used the markers you helped us purchase to work on their coral reef poster projects. They were excited to be able to use the new markers to write the facts that they learned about coral reefs on the posters. Our students were also very excited to use the markers to write their own versions of the Declaration of Independence on parchment paper. Each students' Declaration of Independence looked authentic with your help.

The students have also been using the brand new pencils throughout the day. They use the pencils to write during readers and writers workshop and during math to calculate all of their math problems. The students use the erasers to correct their mistakes knowing very well that "mistakes are proof that they are trying."

Our school reinforces the notion that giving back to the community is important. Your act of kindness is an example of that for our students. All of the supplies that you helped fund have allowed our students to have so many new experiences this year and we are incredibly thankful!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cole

As educators, we feel that we are responsible for providing our students with the best opportunities and materials for their learning. We would like ink and copy paper for our printer in order for our students to bring their writing to life. We would also like other school supplies like pencils and erasers to create wonderful work and erase our mistakes. We will use the markers, crayons, and colored pencils to make our work more beautiful and bring it to life. The post-its will be used to analyze our reading and jot down notes as we dive into our books. Other supplies like envelopes, white out, and paper clips will help our classroom run smoothly. The school supplies that we receive will assist our students in their various learning experiences. All too often, we notice that our students run out of their own supplies, and as the end of the year approaches, our own classroom supplies are dwindling as well. It has become difficult for our students to complete their projects and assignments without these important materials. We look forward to being able to provide our students with everything they need to be successful!
