  • Embroidery for Teens

    Thank you so much for helping to fund my project. My students were so thrilled to hear the new! They are excited every time we learn a new fiber art. These embroidery kits will enable each student to learn a skill and make a beautiful keepsake. They will be over the moon with excitement.”

  • Our Middle School Yarn Arts Club Project #1

    Yarn Arts Club has been the highlight of my year! I have about 20 girls who regularly come and work on a variety of projects. To start the year we did macramé to create friendship bracelets in the school colors. We moved on to crochet. The girls love it and crochet is excellent for building fine motor skills, a skill that has taken a hit in the pandemic and the move to more digital learning. We even had a Christmas party with lots and lots of sugar:-)

    We are embarking on a journey to learn knitting to start in 2025. More details to follow!

    Next, I want to introduce the girls to cross-stitch and needlepoint. Thank you all for your help in sharing these timeless arts with a new generation!”
