  • Wobble While You Work!

    Funded Dec 29, 2023

My class and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for funding our project "Wobble while you work." The children were so excited to see the new Wobble chairs arrive. They couldn't wait to take turns using the chairs for small group lessons. Even those students, that do not have difficulties maintaining their focus and sitting still could not wait to take a "spin" on these new chairs.

These wobble chairs were truly a great addition to our classroom and students are able to get the sensory input they need while maintaining their focus during small group work. Thank you again for helping my students.”

    With gratitude,

I am a kindergarten special education teacher and I am working in an ICT setting, which means that there are special education students with a variety of disabilities mixed with general education children. Many of my students are currently working below the grade level and struggle with writing sentences. Many of them have selective mutism which prevents them from speaking and participating during whole class discussions. The best way that they can express themselves and actively engage is through drawing. I am asking for these wipe off whiteboards in order for them to be able to engage and participate in whole classroom discussions.
