These materials will make a huge difference in my students learning and reading. It would enable my students and I to read together as a group. I do not currently have any sets of books that the students and I can read together for the younger or older students in my classes. I also need colored paper and supplies to organize my guided readers and projects.
I have recently bought a lot of books, but I really need sets of guided readers, and novels so that we can read together or do book studies. For my younger readers I need sets of guided readers so that we can read as a small group. This will help build fluency and confidence. I can also have students buddy read while I have one on one time with students.
Whenever we read our textbook I come up with crafts to extend meaning of the text and I need colored paper that I can copy onto. My students love to extend the meaning of what they read with crafts. Some of my students are kinesthetic learners, so extending the text can be very important.
I also need sets of books for my older readers so that I can do book studies. I bought a set of books this year for my 4th and 5th graders and they love the book study. I would like to be able to have different books to choose from for my students. I also know that I cannot do the same book study next year with my fourth graders as they will have already completed the current one. The clear pockets will help me organize my classes and book studies by class, book and grade.
