I teach the special education unit in my high school. I have seven students and two of them are in wheelchairs. We have to make the most of the area we have to work in so that it is accessible for everyone. Often times it becomes difficult for everyone to work together at once because there is not enough room for all the chairs and wheelchairs. This table will be the space where all my incredible students can do their big thinking together. It is large and open enough for both wheelchairs and student chairs to fit comfortably so that they can all be at the same table, working as a whole group, without being overcrowded.
