  • Enhancing My Vocabulary

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

I am forever grateful; thank you so much. My students interest have been piqued with using new vocabulary words. I have seen tremendous improvements with less students struggling with either spelling words or using various synonyms in their writing. Students have now been motivated to make an effort to improve their writing, spelling and use of vocabulary.

Students have shared that they have also taken home their dictionaries to help younger and older siblings who do not know the meaning of words. Thank you so much for helping us accomplish our dream.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Walters

  • A Clean Slate - Lets Do This!

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

You have been incredible. Everything came in the right time. My students and I are super grateful. The pencils, eraser and sheet protectors etcetera have helped us with our daily learning activities. Students have tools to use and have been using them to help with them being more successful with their lessons.

Our Vocabulary and Social Studies lessons have been more engaging. We have been using our sheet protectors to hold our group activities. Students are being way more organized. They are staying on top of utilizing their tools in an effective way. Thank you so much.”

  • Preparation Never Hurts

    Funded Dec 16, 2022

You are absolutely amazing. My students snd I thank you for the amazing printer; it has been a life saver. I am able to offer my students color print work and when they are doing their hallway bulletin board they get excited when they are able to have a colorful display.

I also now the ability to print practice work paper to help them with skills they struggle with. Not many students have devices at home, so this helps to provide an hands on opportunity to work. Thank you so much. This printer has been so beneficial.”

  • Neat and Tidy

    Funded Oct 19, 2022

Saying thanks is not enough. My students now have the ability to go to an organized book level library, and be confident enough to retrieve books at various levels. I love when I see my students interacting with various books as well as challenging themselves to read higher level books. No more books all over the library floor; the shelves allow them to see all the different levels and be able to put back books in the right order. When my students got their new reading level they wasted no time venturing to their level and reading. I could never have done it on my own. Thank you so much.”

  • Building Vocabulary

    Funded Oct 12, 2022

Thank you so much for helping my students build their vocabulary. I have started seeing improvements in their writing, and enjoy seeing when students use their dictionary to hunt for stronger words to use when speaking. It has truly been a blessing.

Can you imagine the joy when students are more independent when using their sounds and syllables to help find words that they are struggling to spell. It is a great feeling to see my students being independent and resourceful. We could not have done it without you; thank you so much for your generosity.”

  • Work Before Rewards

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Thank you for helping my students to "bump up" that energy that they have towards learning. Since my students have received your kind donations they have been making a lot more effort to do well in their group and individual assignments. Students are excited to earn rewards for doing well on given tasks. It is such a thrilling feeling to hear a child saying Ms. Walters I have mastered all the skills worked on this week, and to see the joy on their face(s) when they know they have earned a reward is an amazing feeling. I cannot tell you thanks enough. We appreciate it . Thank you so much.”

  • Trying To Survive In Social Studies and Science

    Funded Aug 2, 2022

Thank you so much for allowing me to help my students continue to be driven in Social Studies and Science. They have been working super hard to help complete tasks given, as well as they look forward to the interesting discussion, topics and activities that we are now doing.

I have seen where students have shown improvement in analyzing Social Studies and Science text and you have given my students new joy and hope to look forward to more hands on activities that allows them to discover and become more engaged in learning. Thank you so much.”

  • Meeting Your Instructional Needs

    Funded Apr 5, 2022

What an amazing feeling when students have the ability to work on skills that they are struggling with. My students enjoyed using IXL; they were able to work in different subjects areas and on different skills. They felt empowered knowing that they could still work on skills at different grade levels. My students found joy in telling and showing me when they earned an award for mastering skill(s). The greatest accomplishment for them was when they also received a certificate for skill completion. Students came to school excited to tell me about their parents responses and that they wanted to work on more skills the next day. Without you giving my students the amazing gift of IXL I would not be able to see them fully blossom into their full potential. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

  • Hard Work + Snack = Snack Break

    Funded Apr 5, 2022

Thank you, thank you, thank you. My students had an attitude of gratitude when they received the snacks and were able to get a snack break after working so hard. They made more effort and they took time to solve problems, so that they could enjoy their break. The WATER was a tremendous help. Students enjoyed getting bottles of water after being out in the sun for recess. This was a sense of relief and it made them so happy to return to class and have water. This really helped with the lesson after recess as students were not hot and reluctant about returning to work. They were energized and ready to go.”

  • Get Ready, Get Set - Let’s Go

    Funded Nov 25, 2021

Yaaaay, we finally have pencils that we do not need to sharpen. Thank you so much for the cleaning supplies. They have been a God send. The students are able to clean up after themselves, and they are now making a conscientious effort to clean their surroundings, and that is an awesome feeling. I could not have made such progress without your help. It is greatly appreciated.

At dismissal I don't have to be seeking or searching for wipes now we are able to adequately keep our environment clean. Thanks again”

The Dell Inspiron 11.6' laptop will not just spark the students' reading, but ignite a light in their reading skills. The laptop was selected to help the children with their reading skills. I have observed that my students are yearning to do better at reading but they are lacking integral tools; which are laptops. With the laptops given, they will able to do their AR (reading) quizzes in the morning or their reading activities. This quiz tests their comprehension skills and vocabulary level based on what they have read. When they have read the book and able to show understanding based on what they have done on the quiz, they have a flower that grows each time. This motivates them to work harder each time to get the flower to grow. I have seen where students have read and tried to read books for days with the hope of going on the computer to get the opportunity; but, sadly, they do not have enough laptops. I see the spark go out when they are not given the opportunity to be quizzed on the books they have read.
