  • Power in Every Pencil

    Funded Mar 3, 2025

This is amazing thank you so much for seeing this great need. I appreciate the fact that you have assisted my students and I with having pencils to complete their task. You are amazing, a few students just asked for pencils and then I looked and saw that the project was granted. Wow, thank you so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Walters

  • Reading Rockstar

    Funded Feb 7, 2025

What an awesome feeling when my students and I saw the packages arriving and doing the unboxing. We were truly excited to see all the amazing incentives and certificates that they can earn and will earn when they continue to be successful.

Interestingly the package came just in time as all my students on the previous day had participated in a 5th grade debate; they all did an outstanding job going on stage and presenting not only in front of their peers, but also their parents and judges. For their dedication, bravery and commitment all students had the opportunity to choose an incentive and they were more than excited to do so. Thank you so much for all that you did and will continue to do for my students and I.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Walters

  • Words at Your Fingertips

    Funded Dec 22, 2024

Thank you for your generous support of the Words at My Fingertips project. The dictionaries you provided have made a profound impact on my students, empowering them with a tangible and reliable resource to expand their vocabulary, enhance their reading comprehension, and strengthen their writing skills.

With these dictionaries in hand, my students have developed greater independence in their learning, confidently exploring new words and deepening their understanding of language.

Every morning when my students come in they are armed with their dictionary and ready to embark on the journey of finding new words”

    With gratitude,

  • The Need to Be Focused

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Test-taking can be a stressful experience for many students. Distractions, anxiety, and concerns about academic integrity often hinder their ability to perform at their best. Your donation of test shields has provided a practical solution to these challenges, allowing students to focus entirely on their work without unnecessary disruptions.

Since implementing the test shields, we have noticed a significant improvement in student concentration and confidence during assessments. The shields create a designated personal workspace, reducing distractions and encouraging independent work. Many students have expressed feeling more comfortable and focused, which has directly translated into better test performance.”

  • Cool It Down!

    Funded Aug 5, 2024

Thank you so much for allowing me to have resources to help my students with calming down. It has been so beneficial, I have seen that when students use the sensory fidgets the colors and objects inside helps them to relax. The book, It's Okay to Not be Okay has been magnificent as it is allowing students to know that it is ok when things are not going their way, however it is not going to stay that way forever.

I have not been having much behavior issues with my students and the environment is so calming and relaxing, as a result of this students can truly focus on what matters; their education. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Walters

  • Without Pencils We Struggle

    Funded Mar 19, 2024

Thank you so much for the tools I received. They have been so beneficial. My students are no longer constantly complaining about the basic tools needed to complete work. Our pencil area is no longer a concern. Students are making a more conscientious effort to use their tools wisely. During writing time students are starting on time, as well as they are using their tools to be more productive while learning and working.

A moment that I can remember vividly was when a child said to me, "wow, you really want us to learn, you always ensure that we have what we need."”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Walters

The Dell Inspiron 11.6' laptop will not just spark the students' reading, but ignite a light in their reading skills. The laptop was selected to help the children with their reading skills. I have observed that my students are yearning to do better at reading but they are lacking integral tools; which are laptops. With the laptops given, they will able to do their AR (reading) quizzes in the morning or their reading activities. This quiz tests their comprehension skills and vocabulary level based on what they have read. When they have read the book and able to show understanding based on what they have done on the quiz, they have a flower that grows each time. This motivates them to work harder each time to get the flower to grow. I have seen where students have read and tried to read books for days with the hope of going on the computer to get the opportunity; but, sadly, they do not have enough laptops. I see the spark go out when they are not given the opportunity to be quizzed on the books they have read.
