• Wiggle Worms!

  Thank you for your amazing donation! WOW, what a difference it has made in my classroom. The students all want to come to the rug to learn now, so they can use the cushions and lap desks. At the back table they are on the stools and working so hard!

  You have helped to create a welcoming, differentiated classroom. A space where the students can wiggle, waggle, and learn. The students faces were an amazing sight to see as they entered the classroom and saw all the goodies they now got to use.

• Indoor Recess Fun!

  Thank you for your kind donation! These indoor recess games have allowed them a chance to interact with their peers. It has also given them the opportunity to use their imagination which is so important.

  The students want to thank you. It showed them how people out their care about them and their education. These games have made their indoor recess experience more fun and exciting. A lot of them don't get the chance to play with their families at home, so to see them playing is great.

  Thank you for your kind donation! These chair seats have helped to keep students more organized. It allows them a chance to place their belongings that does not fit in the desk, in the chair, and not on the floor.

  The students want to thank you. It showed them how people out their care about them and their education. These chair buddies have helped them to find their desk faster, keep their papers in their folders organized, and provide them with extra space.

• Technology in the Classroom

  I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for your kind donation. I can't even express how much easier our school day is with this printer.

  This printer has already allowed for the chance for immediate exploration, research, and a chance for higher order thinking. We now have immediate access to things be printed out, which has helped to enhance and make our day more lively.

  The students wanted to say thank you, "Thank you so much for giving us this printer. You made our day more interesting and sometimes we even get harder work that allows for our brains to grow!"

• Remote Learning Resources

  Thank you so much for your kind donation. This has been one of the most difficult and stressful years of my teaching career, but you helped to lessen that burden. The new headphones you helped me to get for my class was the biggest help as all of them did not have headphones or they were broken. Therefore, making online teaching very hard as most of them were trying to learn in a loud place. You allowed learning more accessible and easier for the students.

  The kids were beyond excited to see the new materials brought to the class in boxes. It was like classroom Christmas to them as they could not wait for me to open the boxes. Once I did they could not stop smiling.

  Not only were the headphones the biggest hit of all, but the wiggle seats. As this year is so different and the kids can not work in partners, work in small groups, and move around the class, they were getting very antsy. These wiggle chairs helped them to get their anxieties and energy out, as well as give them the chance to move their body and legs.

• Diverse Books for Diverse Readers

  I just wanted to take this time to thank you again for your kind donation. Working in a diverse setting these books are going to help connect my class. I can now do mini lessons on each book whether it's in feelings or different cultures creating a welcoming environment. This city is what you would call a "melting pot" and it is important to show the kids that it is okay to be different and that our differences are what make each of us so special. You helped to build the sense of community and understanding so thank you. And thank you for all that you do, it does not go unnoticed!”

• Seat Sacks!

  I cannot thank you enough for helping and funding the seat sacks. They have helped my students more than you know. Before they were sitting on their books, papers falling out everywhere, and were surrounded by clutter. They are now able to organize their desks, learn responsibility, and have a clean surrounding. This has helped them tremendously to stay out of trouble, as they are no longer distracted. They are not falling off their chairs because the excessive amounts of books or paper. My students have been able to keep focus and really engage in their work.”

  I cannot thank you enough for all that you do. You have helped to give my students supplies they so desperately needed. By providing them with the appropriate supplies, my students are able to work to the best of their abilities. They have used such supplies to stay organized and focused. • Verizon Bringing Technology into the Classroom

  Funded May 9, 2018

  Thank you so much for donating to our project. The students are really excited to use the materials. The headphones will be effective in centers to help improve focus and efficiency while they use Chromebooks. They will be able to block out the many distractions that can arise in the classroom and we will see a great improvement in ability and effort. The printer will help to ensure that the students receive differentiated instruction and practice in real time. The students will also be able to see their creative writing printed in the classroom and displayed. The Apple TV will also help to display the student work.
