  • Fun in the Sun!

    Funded May 20, 2021

Thank you so very much for funding my project. My students love riding the bikes and jumping on the trampolines. We are learning to share and take turns. We are also learning to share with another PSI classroom. It is a great feeling see my students learning to share and take turns.

When I received the items, I did not put them together until later in the day. The next day when my students went out to play,it was very exciting to see their faces light up.

Some of my students did not want to try and pedal the bikes. We had to teach them how to pedal. They all love the tramoplines.

Again thank you so very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Paula

  • Learning While Having Fun!

    Funded May 8, 2020

We are using these resources in the classroom and virtual. My students got so excited when we recieved our materials. It has been great seeing their faces on Zoom. They are excited to see what we are going to make next. These supplies have made this virtual learning a little easier on everyone. They love Pete the cat felt boards, and the Barefoot books we listen to them on ZOOM. The dot makers are a big hit along with the paper. I can get them to try and guess what letter I put on the string. I can never say Thank you enough.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Paula

  • Sand and Water Help Us Learn

    Funded Aug 22, 2019

We are so thankful for all the contributions to our special education classroom.

Our children were so excited about our sand and water tables. We put them together and the children did not want to stop playing. We have used them outside on the side walk to share with the inclusion pre-k classroom. We had one student start playing more with friends because of the sand table.

The weighted blanket has also had a great affect on our students. We have a student that likes to sleep with this blanket. It helps him relax and go to sleep.

The ink was used to make great book folder games for the children to use to retell a story.

We can't thank you enough for funding our first project!!!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Paula

My children love working with their hands. Sand and water is what my children love to do. They get so excited when we play with sand and water. Having the sand and water tables will make it easier for all 6 students to play at one time. My students love to play in the sand or water. If we have these tables we can take them outside on nice days. When it is too hot or raining we can just move them back inside. My children love to talk while engaged in something they enjoy. We make letters and shapes in the sand. In the water, we try and catch different colors and numbers.
