Students in a Title I school need pottery wheel equipment to experience clay in the classroom as well as glazes to make their pottery food safe and utilitarian. Students will be taught by an educator with 16 years of experience in art education specifically in ceramics. Students will be taught how to make ceramics on the wheel such as mugs and bowls for their household. These functional ceramic works of art will last a lifetime. These materials will be used for years to come and reach hundreds of students, their families, and the community.
