    Thank you so much for supporting me and my students in creating a loving and calm environment. Students really appreciate when I can offer them snacks and a comfortable space to work and learn in. As I'm sure you can imagine, when students' physical needs are met and they are in a comfortable environment, they feel more free to learn and share about themselves. Thank you so much for the important role you're playing in the learning journey of my approximately 150 students!

  • Creating a Space That Feels Like Love and Comfort

    Thank you so much for your support of my students in making our space more comfortable so that we can all feel good in the space and supported as we learn! We have been using the markers, whiteboards, and other coloring materials in advisory as a way to destress after assessments and my students sought out this space after the SAT in order to decompress, which shows me that our goal of creating a welcoming environment is being achieved.

    Furthermore, the comfortable seating has been successful as students have unprompted (!) countless times let me know that they are happy that they can choose where they sit and use cushions to feel good while learning.

    My next step is to enhance some of the lighting which is a common complaint by students to make the space even more comfortable, but with your help we are well on our way to creating a joyous and welcoming learning environment. I can't thank you enough!”
