  • Esports Competitions Through A Gaming Monitor!

    Funded Sep 24, 2023

Students at Palm Grove Elementary are very grateful for your generous donation. It is allowing them to learn skills that will help them become better learners and problem solvers.

The participation in group allows them to learn to get along well as they have to share and play as a team.

The monitor will provide us with additional needed technology to run our club and build our e-sports community and push for more titles next year.

Additionally, we hope to use the monitor in our Makerspace club where students already participate creating.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ochoa

  • Heat Press for a Sense of Community!

    Funded Sep 23, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations. Students and staff at Palm Grove Elementary are now enjoying the creations that are made possible because of our new Heat Press.

Our Pre-4 classes were able to perform on the Thanksgiving program using turkey tshirts that were created using our Heat Press. Students were so excited as well as parents to see them with their beautiful tshirts.

We can't wait to continue to create and celebrate the different holidays and school events and bringing everyone together with the creations we will make with our new Heat Press.

    Forever gratefull,”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ochoa

  • Opening a World of Tools With an Apple Pencil!

    Funded Jul 5, 2019

Palm Grove Library is excited to have a new 27' screen for the new circulation desk. We are very grateful for your generous donations that made this possible. The new computer screen will be set up for students at the circulation desk in the library.

Students were very excited to be able to use the new screen and look forward to seeing it in action.

At Palm Grove Library we strive to provide students with the most current technology. We want to bring the real world to them as much as possible. Some students have never visited the public library and so we will provide that experience in our library as close as we can.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ochoa

  • 21st Century Library! Reimagined Space.

    Funded Nov 27, 2018

Palm Grove Elementary would like to thank you for your generous contribution of the flexible seating for our Library. Your donation has provided seating that our students use now to enjoy the love of reading.

The students were so excited when they first opened the boxes and saw what was inside. The seats are colorful and comfortable and students are enjoying reading even more. They all want to use the seats of course, and I am very happy to be able to provide that option for them because of your generosity.

At the beginning of this year, we started a program that opens the library 30 minutes earlier. The flexible seating donated has been such a success. Students want to spend more time reading in the library. Our goal is to transform the library in such a way that students have access to more information through technology, and at the same time a comfortable place for them to enjoy reading. It's all becoming possible because of you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ochoa

Our Library is the hub to our Makerspace which serves our diverse population. Our students come from different backgrounds and socioeconomic status. Everybody wants to come to Makerspace! This is the time when students can build, create, and imagine with legos, little bits, k-nex, and Dash robots from Wonder Workshop! Our Makerspace gives students the opportunity to explore future careers by experimenting first hand with devices and manipulatives, which in turn will spark their imagination, allowing them to pursue lifelong self-learning. With Wonder robots, students learn computer science principals for the 21st century. Students learn robotics and coding using these interactive and easy to use robots.
