• Classroom Supplies Emergency!

  Thank you so much for the vital supplies my students received thanks to your generous donations and kindness. I was able to buy stools that have become absolutely indispensable to myself and my students. We use it for small groups and for so many others things. They are also used for sewing, and I have enough that I am also able to distribute them all around the classroom so I could now easily pull up to a child as needed.

  The dry erase markers, laminating papers, and laminating machine were also a much needed blessing. I am now able to laminate worksheets (saving paper) and the students can use their dry erase markers to complete their work. A simple swipe of the sheet and it's ready for the next student.

  My classroom now runs a lot smoother and more efficiently thanks to you:)

• Can't Read Without Books

  Thank you so much for your kind and loving donations to my classroom. I cannot overstate the impact the fulfillment of this project has already had on my students' reading and confidence levels. Beginning readers are able to practice their sight words, build their decoding skills, and accelerate their reading levels. We also now not only have books for the classroom, but the children are able to borrow books to take home as well (to show off their reading skills :) My class is filled with proud, growing readers thanks to all of you. Thank you very, very much from all my students and from this very proud and grateful teacher.

• Hungry Book Worms!

  Thank you so much for the books for our classroom library. Many teachers do not have enough leveled books for their particular class, and I simply cannot stress the importance of leveled books in a classroom. Children feel such confidence when they are able to read books on their level and feel such pride when they see their reading improve. They become voracious readers because of this.

  I cannot thank you enough for caring about students. I am now able to do more group work and guided reading, and the students are able to independently improve their reading. Because of your generous donations, I am now a more effective teacher and my students are better readers and thinkers.”

• Colors Make the World Come Alive

  Thank you so much for my colored printer and ink. I had been wanting those items for quite a a while and it has made a huge difference in the work I am able to give my kids. Kindergarteners need to experience the world in color, and black and white pictures just didn't work a lot of the time. Often the children couldn't truly make out what they were seeing or see the true colors of the subject at hand. Four and five year olds don't have much prior knowledge and being able to present them with colors that reflect reality helps build their knowledge base and keeps their interest.

• Little Miss Muffett Needs aTuffet!

  Thank you so much for the comfy, cute, and adorable bean chairs for my classroom. The only problem is that everyone wants to sit on it :) Thank Goodness, my kindergarteners are terrific and they take turns. The cushions add such warmth and coziness to the classroom. We love it!!! The students use it for cozy quiet time, partner time, reading, relaxing, you name it. It truly brings joy to the students. • Solution Needed For Math Problem

  I am so grateful for the generous donations we received to our classroom. So much would not happen in classrooms without such donations. The children loved learning important math skills with Dab-a-Dots. Children learn best through visual representation and Dab-a-Dots made modeling the math problems easy and learning different strategies fun and engaging for the students. They were able to see the different parts and whole of a math problem and truly understand the concepts of addition and subtraction at this age. It also made making art a little more exciting for them :) Thank you so very, very much for the support to me and my classroom. It meant the world to me and my students. THANK YOU!!!”

• Sewing Is SO Much Fun for Kids

  What a huge impact your donations to my Sewing Shop has made! I was amazed and blown away at the joy this class brought to the students. I would not have imagined that children as young as seven years old would enjoy sewing, designing, and creating as much as they did. But they did! Some students even bought their own sewing machines for home (and a few others are still in the process of bugging their parents about that :) The students were thrilled with the materials I was able to purchase with your generous donations, and they were able to make bags, aprons, teddy bears, masks, hair accessories, pencil cases, etc. At the end of the class (yesterday 6/24) we had a shop and parents and others students were able to buy the items the students made, and those earnings will now be used to support the school and the community. Not only did the children learn to sew, but they also learned to be designers and entrepreneurs. The culmination of their hard work was exciting, rewarding, and immense fun for all. None of that could have happened without all the support we received through your generous donations. Heartfelt thanks!!! Teachers would not be able to do many of the things they dream about without such support and without Donors Choose.   Thank you so much for supporting my sewing class!
