Thank you so much for donating to my project and funding the purchase of new books for my classroom. As a new teacher, I am working on getting books in my students' hands that they will be interested in reading. When I first received the books I was so excited to get started because it was right around Halloween time and that fit with the story perfectly. The kids would come in to class asking if we would be reading each day and when I would tell them "No" they would be upset rather than happy as they had been with other stories. I also had problems with kids reading ahead, which I had never had yet. To top it off, kids in other classes were constantly asking if they were going to get to read the books. If means so much to me that we have generous people like you to help promote reading!”
