  • A WRINKLE IN TIME: An Amazing Journey!!!

    Thank you so much for donating funds to purchase A WRINKLE IN TIME novels for my sixth graders. They really enjoyed reading and studying elements of plot, vocabulary, figurative language, and elements of story.

    Best of all, the students were able to keep their copies of the novel to enjoy again and again. From low income, urban households, my students need opportunities to enrich their homes with worthwhile literature.

My students need copies of A WRINKLE IN TIME to read and study this classic science fiction novel.This project will give my students the opportunity to read and study the classic science fiction novel A WRINKLE IN TIME. This study of the novel pairs wonderfully with the soon-to-be-released Disney movie with many African-American actors. I believe my students will find many ways to relate with the characters' experiences. My school is a Title 1 school. My inner-city students are all on Free and Reduced Lunch. They face many life obstacles, but work hard everyday with sunny dispositions. I look forward to sharing the wonders of A WRINKLE IN TIME with everyone of my students. I can't wait until they discover and explore the wonders of the novel. I am extremely excited to begin this unit and profusely thank you for helping me to expand my students' horizons. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
