My students need additional supplies in their classroom to allow them to be more hands on in the classroom. With the supplies that I'm requesting, they will be able to participate in new activities that I developing throughout the year to improve interactivity and increase ownership in individual learning. I am requesting individual sized whiteboard erasers and various other whiteboard related items which will allow students to participate in fun, engaging, and interactive math "quick check" activities. I already have whiteboards, but without these erasers, students end up using their hands to erase their boards, which can get quite messy. I am also requesting additional whiteboard marker pens since they run out of ink so quickly. The crayola markers, card stock, colored washi and correction tape that I am requesting will be used for several art-integrated math projects, such as 3D models or math learning posters. These activities will address the multiple intelligences of all of the students that I have. These art-related activities are always fun lesson units that I want to implement but never have enough markers or supplies to go around. Finally, I am requesting speakers because when I am giving a lesson with my computer, the sound is never loud enough for my students to hear through the tiny speakers of my laptop. The reviews of this set of speakers seems overwhelmingly positive, and seem to be the perfect size for my class!
