Our school is lucky enough to utilize a math fact fluency program called Reflex Math. This program helps students master addition, subtraction and multiplication facts. In a video game like environment, students answer facts as quickly as they can in order to build fluency; this leads to a strong mathematical foundation. Too slow, and it's game over! Currently, my students play this game on their Chromebooks, but the numbers are right below the function keys. In the pursuit of typing in answers as fast as possible, often students accidentally hit function keys that log them out of the game. Many students spend the majority of their time in this program logging back in as opposed to building their math fact fluency. If our classroom had a set of 10-keys, we would be able to fully reap the benefits of this incredible program. Thank you for your time!
