Currently, my students are learning about how their personal culture is different and similar to those around them and how their identity is not defined by traditional norms. By having access to tablets students will be able to communicate with other groups of students to share experiences and deepen their connection to self, community and the world around them. I would like to connect students with people they would normally never be able to meet by using iPads to communicate and share information. Students will be able to share their own stories with their community by discussing issues that face students today.
