Help Solve Tech Troubles!
Funded Dec 2, 2020Thank you so much for the great tech tools. The laptop and large monitor have made the difficult job of working remotely, much easier.
The large monitor allows me to more clearly see the kids and their work. Also, it allows me to see them while I'm sharing my screen. Before the monitor, I couldn't see them for the entire time I was sharing, which is a long time! The students are excited to know that I can see them more clearly. The laptop makes planning, uploading and work in general, much easier too.
I am very grateful for these items that you have gifted me through Donors Choose. They will last and be useful for many years to come. Thank you for making it possible with your donations.”

This classroom project was brought to life by FamilyAlbum and 18 other donors.Music and Mysteries
Funded Aug 17, 2012We are so grateful for your generous donation of mystery books and CD player.
Each week the books will be read and reread by my students. The mystery genre is a favorite and the kids are anxiously awaiting their turns for the "new" books.
The CD player is also a wonderful addition to our classroom. It is so pleasant to be able to listen to classical music while the children work. Music is a valuable part of the study of cultures around the world. The children are fascinated.
Again, many thanks.”

Where In the World Is...Anything???
Funded Jun 4, 2010What a wonderful gift for our students! With these maps, the children are now able see the "big picture" and have a better understanding of the world we live in. I can't even tell you how often we use these amazing maps. They are not just for Geography. Just the other day while reading "Tomas and the Library Lady" we were able to see how far Tomas and his family had to travel. The kids were then able to truly feel for the character after they realized how long and hard his journey was. They would not have been able to connect so well to the character without the maps.
I know that for many years to come these maps will help so many of my students.
Thank you again for this fabulous gift.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Perez
