The OCS program prepares students for the workforce by assigning daily tasks and campus "jobs". They focus on various skills such as communication, team work, and critical thinking skills. OCS students have learning disabilities but also have the drive to learn various jobs on campus. Students are assigned different job tasks working in different departments. Many duties are office skills such as filing, organizing, and answering the phone. Most of their work is making copies for teachers, cafeteria staff, and student services. Students have a job coach on a daily basis, to monitor their progress and provide constructive criticism. Students also learn time management by learning to clock in and out.
