• Creative Minds

  Thank you so much for contributing to the children's creative artwork, building, fine motor development and exploration of diversity. The children explored different shades of people while molding faces with the multicultural play dough. We continued to use the play dough for a variety of creations. The shimmer dot markers are a favorite material at the art center. The children also use them for special projects, including boxed animal art in which we practiced the art of camouflage. In our science center, the children build with the magnetic blocks frequently together while exploring magnetic forces.”

• Active Engineers

  The ramp and tube sets are a great addition to our block center materials. The children enjoy putting together the ramps in a variety of configurations and testing out how they work. Our transportation and movement theme came to life with your support! We continue to experiment with different angles and to measure the speeds of our vehicles. The children collaborate together, share and offer ideas on how to explore in new and different ways. They also enjoy connecting the ramp pieces together to make different routes for driving vehicles and trains. Thank you so much!”

• Essential Classroom Organizers and Media Support

  Thank you so much for helping to organize our classroom! We use the cart to store our musical instruments and CD player within our large group space. We are able to easily connect everything we need, including our iPad Pro. This allows us lots of opportunities for music and movement sessions along with interactive storytime. Everything is easily assessable to all teachers and the children as we plan and create meaningful experiences together. The children especially love to pick out their favorite instruments and have jam sessions together.”

• Music, Photo and Interactive Experiences with iPad Pro

  Thank you so much for connecting us with an iPad Pro. We have so many fun playlists to use throughout our day. We use different clean up songs to gather on the carpet for storytime and large group meetings. We have movement and music dance sessions. We also extend our learning with informational videos and take photos to share of our favorite activities. For our current theme, we created a nursery with a changing station and crib for our baby dolls out of cardboard and recycled materials. We will use the iPad to play different lullabies to sing along as the children care for the dolls.”

• Ready, Set, Go!

  Thanks so much for supporting our play-based classroom! The bilibo gross motor toys are a big hit with the children. They use them as stepping stones, baskets, and fun movement spinners/rockers. The children continue to come up with creative ways to use the bilibos for open-ended exploration. The felt food sets are also well used as the children pretend to make meals together and develop food-related vocabulary. Lastly, the children tend to and care for the large animals. They build a variety of structures and habitats using wooden and foam blocks for them. We appreciate these new materials!”

• Bins! Bins! Bins!

  Thank you for helping us to start the year off with a bright and organized classroom! Our play centers are now organized with bins by color so the children can easily find and return them to the corresponding center. It makes clean up a breeze so the children can help care for their classroom while spending more time focusing on following their interests and curiosity throughout the day.
