  • Tech Savvy Learners

    Funded Nov 14, 2024

Thank you for your donations! My students have been enjoying using Stylus Pens and Earbuds. These Earbuds have been such a relief for my students' ears.

It is always a joy to share with my students that there are kind people near and far donate to support their learning and growth. Before this project was funded students were provided big bulky headphones that caused lots of pain and irritation when it came to using their computers. They have especially enjoyed using their stylus pens during their math fact practice time to answer their questions quickly.

Once again, thank you for supporting the learning of my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Del Castillo

  • Fantastic Scholastic: Bringing Scholastic into Our Room

    Funded Jun 4, 2024

Thank for your donations that have brought Scholastic Storyworks and Scholastic Stem magazines in the hands of my students. We've had a great time exploring all the fun stories and articles. The goal this year has been to foster the love of reading.

My students this year are reading at all levels. With Scholastic Magazines, I'm able to support the learning of all students that is both engaging and rigorous. I know my students are grateful for the support of your donations. On the behalf of my class, thank you again for supporting their journey as new readers.”

    With gratitude,

  • Moveable Learning

    Funded Mar 31, 2024

Thank you very much for your generous donations to Room 32. It is always so amazing the many people who support our classroom.

Your donations have helped us utilize technology in a fun and meaningful way. Students have enjoyed using an extra device for learning, presentations, and creativity. The iPad case allows many students to comfortably type and create google slides. Also, the TFY Security Hand-Strap for Tablets has helped students use their notes when speaking in front of the class.

It is the support from you that creates an amazing learning experience for my 5th and 6th graders. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Del Castillo

  • Write-on in Our Room!

    Funded Jul 29, 2023

Your generosity and support for my classroom has helped us in so many ways. The items that were provided through your donations like the HDMI cord and the Sticky notes have helped our class grow more as writers. We have been writing in our journals everyday and exploring different creative elements to write interesting and captivating stories.

When I shared the amazing news about the donations with my students, they were nothing short of excited and appreciated to have materials for them to use in our class work. We have been growing as scholars each and everyday.

Thank you again for your support to our classroom.”

  • Making Science Messy!

    Funded Nov 3, 2022

On the behalf of Room 32, I express great gratitude for your generosity and support to better our classroom. The HP Pavilion Laptop has been able to help me prepare and create memorable instruction in my 6th grade Science Class.

I have been able to use this laptop in many ways to making learning interesting and grab my students attention. For example, we have been about to have collaborative mini projects blending our use of technology to better understand the internal and external features of jelly fish. Students have been enjoying learning how to creatively put together presentations using animations, audio, and video. It has been a great way to incorporate their own individual styles into their work.

Again, thank you for your contribution to our learning. It is the support of individuals and companies like you who add something special to how we are learning and growing.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Del Castillo

Items like the Meyer's Dish Soap and Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are essential in our learning.

  • Safety First in 6th Grade

    Funded Jul 7, 2022

We had such a great start to this school year. We spent the first weeks learning what it means to be a scientist. This included many conversations about lab safety. As a result of your great impact, each student was able to wear equipment and conduct experiments while being safe and having fun.

It is not common for students to get a chance to be messy, create, manipulate, or build. And this is exactly what I am able to provide these students. What better way to learn about science than to be scientist and do it themselves. The safety goggles, lab aprons, and materials are going to be used by many students through out this year.

On the behalf of my students, thank you for your donations and support.”

  • Learning in a Blended Environment

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

On the behalf of my students, I wanted to express gratitude for the donation you have made to our learning and growth this year. Your donation towards wireless computer mice, batteries and stylus pens have truly helped each student when using their computer. Students have learned how to navigate, explore, and create work digitally.

We had a great time learning presentations, math, science, and social studies with the help of the materials donated on their project. The use of the stylus and wireless mice have helped students have better control to click, drag, expand, and delete when creating on programs like Google slides or Jamboard.

Thank you from the bottom of every heart in Room 33!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Del Castillo

As a teacher, there are many materials and manipulatives I lack to provide my students with a varied and accessible instruction. I hope that with the appropriate materials that my students can thrive in their math skills and feel prepared as they continue onto the next grade. The materials I have chosen will help me provide additional support for students utilizing strategies that correlates with our curriculum. With that being said, our goal in our class is to be strong mathletes. We practice and train every day to do our best and exercise our brains! The use of number lines, number bonds, and base ten blocks are essential to master our standards in mathmatical concepts. What better way than to be hands on!
