In order to be successful in math, students not only need to know how to perform mental math, but they also need the proper tools to do so when it comes to more complicated math problems. This means students need calculators to perform more complicated math problems. When students are able to utilize calculators they have more time to think about the process of math instead of manually calculating problems. A calculator would assist them in providing them more time to complete practice problems and seeking help from the teacher when needed. With a mind that is willing to do anything and proper tools, the possibilities are endless.
