I am looking to get an iPad for our classroom to encourage students to take responsibility for their actions. Our classroom utalizes ClassDojo in order to track our behavior throughout the day. I would love to have an iPad placed in our room so the children are able to give and take points for themselves when they are learning. I often times have a hard time praising students’ positive behaviors because I use my classroom laptop for the lesson and cannot access the ClassDojo behavior website simultaneously with what we are learning on the projector. With our classroom iPad, the children will be able to always see how many points they have as well as having the ability to give themselves points when I ask them to. This will, in turn, motivate the children to do better and earn more points for positive reinforcement.
