Thank you so much for donating to our classroom! Now we have a project to work on when the students start school again in the fall. I am so excited to be able to grow new flowers with my students. Next year I will be getting many new students and this will help them feel included. It is always a great idea to give children jobs to do in the classroom. The garden tools will help them dig holes for the new seeds. The seeds will turn into beautiful flowers. Every time we look outside of our windows we will have something nice to admire.”

Thank you very much for donating to our Special Education classroom. By donating to our classroom, you allowed me to purchase new math workbooks that will give them crucial practice solving common core word problems. I was also able to purchase cursive handwriting workbooks. Many students did not learn how to write in cursive and struggle to write legibly. This affects them in all classes including; Science, Math, Social Studies, and of course Language Arts. I am so happy that we received some flower seeds for our empty flower box. We have very large windows on one side of the classroom that looks out to a garden box. I am hoping that in a couple of months they will look out and see flowers blooming. Thank you so much!”

Thank you very much for your generous and kind donation to our special education classroom. Our students come in hungry everyday. Most of them require a lot of incentives, treats, and positive reinforcement to complete the tasks that other students do easily. By donating to my classroom, you give me the extra tools needed to encourage them to keep working and to keep earning store money to get these incentives. They love working for rewards. They get so excited to see how much money they have at the end of each week. Sometimes they save money to buy larger items, sometimes they spend all of their store money. It is a great strategy to teach them that hard work pays off. Thank you!”

Thank you so much for helping my classroom! I really appreciate your generosity. I was able to give each student their own pencil and eraser. I was also able to give the students that are not able to hold their pencil correctly, a pencil grip so their hand doesn't get too tired from writing. The students LOVED the snacks!
I was able to provide erasers to each student. I now have a few hand held sharpeners that the students or paraprofessionals can use if the pencil breaks in the middle of the group. The students were happy to see new materials in their pencil boxes. The students don't have to worry about other students taking their pencils, pencil grips, or erasers. Each student has what they need for group.”

Thank you so much for the kindness and generosity. Many of my students come to school hungry everyday. I was able to give the most needy students some extra snacks to take home with them over the summer break to share with their family.
I also shared with some other students from different classrooms. They all enjoyed the chips and cookies. We had an end of the year classroom party and it was a perfect addition.
I know that the students felt appreciated and loved and will never forget the kind gesture.”

Thank you so much for donating to our SPED classroom! I appreciate your kindness and generosity so much. By you donating to our classroom we are now able to change out the filter in the classroom every 3-4 months instead of every 6-8 months. Having clean air in our classroom is so important since our doors have to be closed in order for the a.c. to work. I am looking forward to planting the seeds with the students in August. I plan on having them help me water the soil and watch the beautiful flowers grow. I hope that every time they look out the window it brings them joy in seeing something beautiful that they were a part of. I am going to bring in my fish tank in August and assign students to help me feed and clean the tank.”

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity! With your contributions I was able to get new number lines to use with the students when adding and subtracting within 10 and within 20. I also received a really cool light up cube game for them to use on a play break. In addition to that I was able to switch out the filter in our air purifier. The class doesn't get a lot of fresh air and we are constantly getting sick. Having the air purifier helps us stay a little healthier during cold and flu seasons.”
By donating to our class you are helping students that do not have these resources available at home. Many students rely on us to provide them with school supplies. The students are always excited to switch things up and use new curriculum. Reading comprehension is an area that most of the students struggle with. By having different stories and assignments, it gives them a variety of ways to practice those skills and are great ways for students that have learning disabilities to explore learning new things in different ways. It allows them to practice skills necessary for different classes. It also gets the students excited about learning again! Thank you!”

The hands-on sensory toys would be very beneficial for students needing a break from the academics. I could also use the hands-on activities as a reward system to encourage students to complete more work. The wipe clean activity books are perfect for these little ones that are learning crucial skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten and in future grades. It teaches them foundational skills; letter identification, sound identification, numbers, colors, shapes, and works on fine motor skills. The other activity books will help them master skills like; cutting, tracing, matching, sorting, and sequential order.
The writing workbooks would help students that are struggling to write complete sentences and/or paragraphs independently. The sensory toys are great for when they need to take a break from working. It's also a great workout for their little fingers. I would be able to reuse each year with new incoming students at that level.
