The product I am requesting for my students are textbooks. The school my students attend is very small with only 132 students in 9th-12th grade. The area my students live in is a very rural, low-income area. The only department in the high school that has books is the English department. How can we expect students to exceed if they don't even have the most basic materials such as textbooks? With textbooks, students would be able to read and do assignments on their own at home. They can use them as secondary resources to help them better understand events in history. Having textbooks would also give me, the teacher, a curriculum guide and sequence of events to follow.
