My students do not have headphones for testing on the computer. When they don't have headphones, they can't hear the text-to-speech read to them. This tool is vital to helping them succeed on their assessments. These students have learning disabilities and need the text-to-speech feature to help them succeed in the classroom. They listen to the test read to them on the computer because they may struggle with reading, dyslexia, or have ADHD. These earbuds may be the difference in passing the test! I want to students to feel comfortable, that's why I chose earbuds. The students do not want to wear old foam covered headphones. They feel embarrassed. Please help them get these headphones!
