  • Activities Coming to Life With Color!

    Thank you so much for your kind donations! The color printer you have provided for our classroom has allowed us to print out icons in color, do activities in color that help children see the life cycle of many amazing animals and plants, identify animals and help with their communication skills! This printer has given our classroom the opportunity to do activities quickly, make visual schedules and help them to identify their colors! It has provided them with language skills by looking at the icons and pictures and forming sentences of what they are shown!

  • Learning through Light Play!

    Thank you so much for donating to my classroom! These past few months have been so exciting watching the children play at the light table! It has been full of so much learning, and the children could not contain their excitement when it was first introduced! The children are expressing their knowledge of letters and numbers, they are labeling their colors, and asking for more. They are even asking if they can have more time at the table!! This new center, which is all thanks to you donors, has allowed my students to practice sharing, communication skills, and social play skills! My team and I are extremely great full for this gift and we cannot express how much this means to us and our students!”

  • Communication Goals!

    I cannot thank you enough for donating this iPad to my classroom! The kids love to use it during social skills. Here they use it to identify label and match shapes, colors, letters and body parts! They enjoy the challenging puzzles they have to put together, and taking turns solving educational puzzles! During circle time they enjoy coming up and picking their favorite songs and sharing the iPad so everyone gets a chance to chose. We recently obtained more educational apps and we are very excited to use them once we come back from vacation! The students mostly enjoy being able to play with one another solving the challenging puzzles, and being able to spend time mastering letters, colors, shapes and labeling body parts on Mr. Potato head! A few of my students will work extra hard just to gain extra time on the iPad! We cannot thank you enough for your generosity!”

During our small group sessions, speech therapies and other activities during the day the children using this app will be able to communicate their wants and needs. The children will use this ipad to communicate in all aspects of their day and be able to participate that much easier. During Circle time the children will be able to answer what month, day and the weather. They will be able to tell you how they are feeling that day and be able to ask their friends how they are also feeling.
