Tools for our Tech
Funded Oct 31, 2018It is with gratitude and appreciation that I send this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give towards tools for a tech in our classroom. With the headphones and computer mice that were donated, we have been able to tap into further learning with the use of smaller groups to focus on differentiation among our students. We have also been able to utilize the Internet to participate in research projects and reading programs with the use of our headphones, along with our computer mice. This allows for more availability of the technology and the ability to concentrate on their personal learning, which can be limited as a whole group.
Again, thank you for your donation. The students' love having their own tools and that they can listen to music to help them focus. They love the fact that they can have access to fun learning, at the touch of a few buttons. We thank you that our students have these tools to transform our classroom learning!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Boyer
This classroom project was brought to life by Chevron Fuel Your School.Real-Time Pro with an iPad Pro
Funded Mar 27, 2018The iPad Pro and Apple Pencil has been an incredible tool in our classroom. Student learning has been transformed through the many apps and programs available. Lessons pertaining to writing and math have dramatically changed and allowed for more one-on-one time with students. Apps like Google Classroom on the iPad have allowed students to receive nearly instant feedback. Student presentations and projects have been transformed by using the tools available with our iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.
This technology has specifically benefited students who need extra support in math and reading. We are able to use apps and resources that tailor to each students specific need and fill in some of the gaps in their knowledge. One specific student uses it to improve reading skills and it has really improved her self perception as a reader.
This has truly transformed our classroom and given us a variety of new opportunities. The students and I are so appreciative of your donation and help.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Boyer
