Thank you so much for your kind donation. This will allow my students to take their learning to the next level. These supplies will encourage my students to learn with through hands on by exploring different materials. Thank you so much for supporting our preschool classroom. Your kindness help us foster a fun and exciting learning environment for our students.”
Thank you for your thoughtful donations in helping my students build a love for learning. These literacy centers help build my students excitement for independent work. They loved getting to use hands on materials! I loved being able to present these to my classroom reducing the typical worksheet method of teaching and replacing some of it with hands on materials brought back some excitement into the classroom. The favorite of the materials was the Pop it ABC game. All the students loved it allowing for learning of phonics but social skill building as well. Students were able to play a game work on letter sounds but also work on being able to take turns and coping with not always winning. Thank you again!!”
Thank you so much for the kind donations. These materials made a huge impact on my students. This allowed my students to be more engaged and excited about math time. My students where always excited and could not wait for math centers to begin. They loved the hangs on materials which helped them gain independence and confidence in their math skills. The favorite math center for both myself and my students has to be the find your numbers, it accommodating all levels of learning so every student is excited to play and I am happy and confident that all my students are making gains by utilizing that center. Thank you again!”
Thank you so much for the kind donations. My students loved the new games in the classroom. We are able to use them in the classroom to support the students with taking turns with each other. The students in my classroom are working on their social skills and need support with interacting with their peers and waiting. These games allow for meaningful opportunities with these skills. My students really enjoyed playing the monkey games. This games allowed to work not only on their social skills but allowed us to encourage math skills by counting their own monkeys. Thank you again for your thoughtful donation.
Thank you so much for the kind donations. These books and interactive puppets and pieces allow for student engagement. They LOVE the different act ivies with each book that was provided. This allows reading to be incorporated in center times. Students who may not be able to read the book are able to use the different puppets and visuals to reenact the story.
My students love to read books and because most of them are non-verbal it allows them to interact and enjoy the story. The visuals allow for the students to show understanding and comprehension of the story by matching and sequencing. My students really enjoyed The very Hungry caterpillar interactive book. They love being able to interact with the story and see the life cycle of a caterpillar.
Thank you for all that you do!”

I want to thank you for your generous donation. I started the program last year for students on the spectrum and had very limited classroom furniture, with the focus being on COVID related materials, not classroom furniture. The new furniture created a organized environment which allowed for students and staff to have easier access to materials. This allowed for a more successful learning environment. Students where able to have organized individualized areas, which allowed the students to be more independent and take ownership in their learning.
Thank you again for your donation.”

Thank you for your kind donation. During these uncertain times my students have been leaning in person. Having these resources you generously donated toys allowing my students to have their own special toys to keep in their area. Keeping students' toys separated allow us to sanitize and keep everyone as safe as we possibly can. This has been extremely helpful and gives peace of mind knowing we are able to take every step to keep everyone in the classroom as healthy and safe as possible. Students are able to play with toys and have somewhat normal school experiences. The students love playing with the doll house and blocks. My students love playing with the horses and all the different toys. Every morning my students play with a sensory bin and the new sensory toys really enhance their learning and engagement during that time. Thank you for your kindness!”

I am a new teacher in a new Pre-School Links classroom, for children with autism. This is my students first education experience. While starting mid-year the city is unable to provide many of the things that could provide a great learnig experience. My students need a gross motor area in the classroom due to the lack of a playground on school grounds. I also need a lot of visuals as some of my students are non verbal. My students need supplies to help create interactive lessons, and visuals to help promote my student's communication skills. The new classroom is also still looking for furniture to make it complete. Of the things mentioned a gross motor area is of the upmost importance in order to strengthen their coordination, physical strength, and alertness (sensory processing).
