Ready, Set, Go!
Funded Jul 30, 2023Thank you for your contributions to our classroom. Students were so excited when the new materials arrived. They opened the boxes and began to sort the materials. Their excitement was contagious! After the materials were sorted they were passed out to each student. These things are used every day.
We used the plastic page protectors and card stock to make personal white boards for students to use during math class and during spelling. Each day students use their white boards to answer the question of the day. Students also store reusable diagrams for math and language arts in the plastic sleeves. Students often work in small collaborative groups, so the clip boards and folders are handy in keeping them organized.
The art supplies and pouches are a game changer for the students. They are able to keep their materials safe and in one location. This also allows them easy access to being more creative with their classroom work and projects.”

Funded Dec 12, 2018Thank you for your generosity. We were so excited to receive our new headphones! These headphones make it possible for students to work independently on instruction that is created specifically for them to meet their individual educational needs. Students can work on various lessons, watch videos, listen to music, etc. without disruption from the classroom.
Students have shared with me that they are better able to stay focused on their video lessons. The reduced background noise has allowed better concentration and attention to their tasks. Students have also enjoyed the comfort of the padded ear pieces. This too has enable more focus on the task and less focus on the equipment.
Multiple students were without proper or working headphones prior to our project and receipt of the equipment. Students were excited about trying out the new headphones and being the first to use the them. Students have shown great pride in care and proper usage of the headphones. Students are now eager to work on and complete their customized lessons. Thank you again for making this possible.”
