By allowing a designated area for small group work, my learners will feel empowered to ask questions about the work we are doing, and to get the help they need to become competent readers and writers. A Kidney shaped table with chairs will allow me to provide a space for students to work collaboratively. With this table and chairs set, I will have a space that allows me to group my students more effectively for maximum engagement with minimal disruption. In the world of education, differentiation of materials to meet the needs of each unique individual is crucial to student success. With this generous donation, I will be able to work with students at their own individual level without the movement of furniture and materials. A few examples of what we will use the table area for: small group literature circles, remediation in reading and wiring skills, creative writing groups, book clubs, extra homework help, peer group meetings, and so much more!
