Our Girls Cross Country Team represents some of the most self-motivated & inspiring girls my school has to offer. Our current uniforms are limited in sizes & quantities leaving the team in mix-matched attire during our meets. Seeing other teams with matching uniforms effects their run time, pride in their school, but also their self esteem as a student when the differences are so visible. These ladies make me proud each day showing up for early morning practices as well as representing our school with pride during meets around Oklahoma. We practice in southern OKC where running off campus is not always the safest option. Being able to measure distances around our school creates a safe running path as well as multiple routes to add variety to our limited practice space. It is my goal that this project gives them the pride in themselves they deserve to feel when they run for Roosevelt.

About my class
