I am a Reading Specialist for Second Grade in a small, rural community in Southwest Missouri. My biggest challenge is finding ways to motivate students to read when they've had very little reading support or experience at home. I strive to place as many books in the hands of developing readers as possible. My goal is for every student I serve to build a personal library at home of at least 7-10 books!!!!
