I have a wide range of learners in my classroom. Some students are multiple grade levels behind, while others are multiple grade levels above. I need to hook some of my hesitant readers and the best way to do this is through exposing students to high interest book series. These books were chosen with specific students in mind. All it takes for a child to fall in love with reading is to find the right book and give them the time to let the rest of the world fade away. I need to inspire my reluctant readers and challenge my bookworms through introducing them to new characters, books, and series.
