  • A Novel Idea!

    I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations toward my project. In just a few short days my project was fully funded meaning I will be able to get some of my favorite books into the hands of my students. I cannot wait to surprise them with this. They have no idea that I even created a project. One of our classroom favorites, Sideways Stories from Wayside School, is part of this project and I cannot wait to see their faces when they get to have their own copy to read and then use it to be a part a group literature circle and discussion.”

The use of whiteboards in my classroom is almost a daily occurrence and small group time happens multiple times a day. During small group time we pull up to desks or any place we can to work as a group. This dry erase kidney table will provide a dedicated spot for small group time that allows us to work on reading, writing, and math skills. The dry erase top will serve an added purpose of having access to a whiteboard anytime we need it without having to take the time to get additional materials. Being able to write on the table will provide a level of fun and engagement that I want to provide for my students.

About my class
