    Thank you so much for your generous donations. Your selflessness has allowed my students access to quality headphones.

    My students enjoy listening to music as they complete work on our Google Classroom and this allows them to listen without distractions or distracting other. We have very few resources at our school, so even a seemingly small donation such as headphones can have a significant effect on the education of these students. I have had students regularly ask me to borrow the headphones and many have commented on the quality of sound as well.

  • Mathematics on the Big Screen!

    The television will be used to help support visual learners in the classroom. They will comprehend better through the use of short videos, visual examples, and real-time changes displayed through the TV. This is a massive addition to the classroom as it will enhance our lesson plans and make learning more interactive than ever.

  • We Need Speakers and Calculators

    My students are ridiculously excited about the new calculators! Previously, we were using simple four-function calculators, which were stripped of features you can perform on your phone. They did not possess the capability to solve the problems we encounter in class. However, with your donations that all changed.

    We are now able to use these new calculators to properly calculate Interest. We will use them when we begin exponential equations and logarithmic patterns. Without these calculators, these students would not receive a proper education on these subjects.

    My students hated using the old calculators we had, but now they are excited when we break out the new calculators. It brings a smile to my face to see them happy with the technology you so generously donated to our classroom.

  • We Need Graphing Calculators

    On behalf of my students and myself, I want to express our overwhelming sense of gratitude for your generosity. The graphing calculators you have provided us with have made all of our lives much easier. We no longer have to graph by hand and can calculate complex expressions using the new calculators.

    These calculators have helped my students learn in a multitude of ways. As a teacher, I always look to differentiate my instruction as all students learn differently. Some of my students like using the calculators because they are visual learners and they are able to see the graph of the function they are working with. Other students like using the calculators to check their answers and make sure their work is correct.

    Overall, my students and I are very appreciative of your generosity. Their faces light up every time we bring out the calculators and they have verbally expressed how gracious they are for providing this new technology.

My students are not able to get the full Pre-Calculus experience nor be effectively prepared for college courses without access to graphing calculators. My students need graphing calculators in order to adequately learn the subject of Pre-Calculus and apply the concepts and properties learned. Currently, my students are unable to accurately calculate logarithms and trigonometric functions without using scientific calculators. These calculators will allow these students to effectively learn and understand the subject while preparing for life after high school. Having access to these calculators will allow the students to compete with students at other schools who have access to scientific calculators.

About my class
