  • A Story Time to Remember!

    Funded Nov 1, 2024

A story time to remember was a wonderful way to teach my students about characters in a story, the plot of a story, compare and contract, sequence of events, informational books, non-fictional books and fictional books. All lessons are essential in their development of their learning. My students enjoy listening to a new book daily on our round alphabet carpet as it is a good way to introduce a new story daily. My students get so into each story and they love learning about new stories and new characters and the important messages each books brings. I am so happy to have a wonderful collection for many years to come thank you again for your generous donations.”

Hi, Once again thank you for your generous donations. The "Dry Erase Boards" has made a huge impact in my classroom. My students use them to draw and write their thoughts to participate in lesson discussions for all core subjects daily. My students were so happy when they saw their new dry erase boards that includes the boards organization tool kit that keeps the boards nicely organized. They asked me if the boards are for them to use and I said, "yes of course, it was a donation for our classroom". The next steps is to allow them to use them during independent learning stations as this will allow my students to use them as a resource. We appreciate your donations for making this school year a fun learning year for us all.”

I'm planning to use the aquarium and fish to explain to students how an aquatic ecosystem functions. My lessons will involve students recording observations of the fish and their interactions with environmental elements of the aquatic ecosystem to survive and reproduce. We will discuss how each particular environmental element contributes to the overall ecosystem within the aquarium in a way that is similar to the fish in an ocean and the elements there, such as water, plants, rocks, and soil. My goal is for students to understand the delicate interaction and balance between organisms and their environmental habitat. Students can observe this in person or virtually through our Zoom class meetings.
