Light Up Their Faces!
Funded Dec 18, 2021Thank you so much for supporting the students in classroom. The light table has been such a wonderful addition to our learning centers. The students love to use the light table for fun math activities such as counting, sorting and making patterns. They use translucent peg boards, letters and numbers, manipulatives, sorting/pattern trays as well as shapes to expand their math skills. It's such a fun way to learn and the students enjoys seeing all the bright colors and how they can change when they are used together. It's amazing to see all the different ways they use the light table for learning!
Thank you again for your generosity!”

The Love of Literacy!
Funded Feb 3, 2021Hands-on/interactive materials help students with and without disabilities or language skills engage in literacy activities and letter recognition to help increase academic skills.
The students were so excited to see new learning materials in the classroom. It was exciting to see students play side by side with new materials while talking and collaborating even with social distancing restrictions.
The donations you made helped support interest in letter recognition and literacy skills needed for the future. The supplies helped my students stay engaged while learning. The building the letter activity center helped develop not only matching skills but letter recognition. The letter crayons word building center helped develop word building skills. The Pete the cat game is a favorite here in preschool!
Thank you again for this wonderful gift!”

Safe Learning is Fun Learning!
Funded Nov 15, 2020Thank you so much for the generous classroom donations! Preschool is usually all about hands-on learning and sharing with friends! Unfortunately, preschool during a pandemic has been very different. We can not share our learning materials and they need to be made from plastic so they can be properly sanitized daily for safety. The new resources bought from your generosity helped to make sure each student has enough learning materials to work with and that they can be sanitized daily for classroom safety.
The students we so excited to see new learning materials in the classroom. It was exciting to see students play side by side with the same materials while talking and collaborating even with social distancing restrictions.
The stretch and connect builders are wonderful for building. Students use their imagination to design cars, robots and buildings. The plastic pattern blocks and cards are fun and great for shape recognition. We use the waffle connectors for math and building and the tangrams for patterns, shapes and size sorting.
Thank you again for this wonderful gift!”

ABCs Are Easy As 123s
Funded Feb 19, 2019Thank you so much for the generous classroom donations! These math and literacy activities have help to enhance the hands-on learning in my preschool classroom. These games have helped my students develop math and literacy skills through exploratory and interactive play. The alphabet learning locks helped develop not only matching skills but letter recognition. The magnetic number fishing game was a fun and interactive way for students to identify receptively and expressively number 0-25. The number bots where a big hit identifying numbers that then turned into robots! The students enjoyed using all these activities individually and in small group learning. Thank you again for this wonderful gift!”

Dance It Out! Music and Movement for Multi-Sensory Learning
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for the generous classroom donations of an IPOD touch, Bluetooth speaker, portable CD drive and other accessories to allow for easy access to incorporate music and movement more fluidly during learning times. These tools allowed me to take my old music, on many different CD's and download the music on them to the computer by using the portable CD drive and then on to the IPOD touch. I have been able to create playlists for different learning times such as body movement/ yoga, circle time, math music and songs used for literacy. Instead of having to stop and find the next song on a different CD, I now have all the music sorted on playlists and at the touch of a finger. This allows for less wait time for my preschool students. They stay focused on the activity and with less wait time we have seen a decrease in behaviors and distractions.”
