"The Witches" by Roald Dahl is one of my very favorite books! I read this book to my students last year and they enjoyed it, but there is something different about each student holding the book and following along in the text. Through this classroom set, I hope my students will be engaged and excited to read this book. This book is one of my favorites because it encourages my students to be creative and think outside the box. We read many novels as a classroom community, but the majority of my previous students I talk to tell me that "The Witches" was always at the top of their list.
