Differentiated Curriculums for All
Funded Dec 1, 2020Thank you so much for your donations. Your donations have allowed us to purchase extra support within our math and phonics curriculums. We've been studying more into our digraphs and just recently started multiplication!
With extra support in phonics, all of our students were able to receive extra curriculum support in compound words, digraphs, cvc words, and more! This has allowed us to move up in reading levels even more. Our next challenge will be preparing for our state wide exams and testing our comprehension.”

Making Role Models Accessible for Children
Funded Feb 14, 2019A huge thank you from class 1-218!
With Women's History Month beginning this week, we are so excited to have our Little People, Big Dreams books to help support our reading. It's often hard to get books that are not only on grade level for our students but also engage them in the content. When I came upon these books in a bookstore, I knew my students would love them. Not only do they work as read-alouds, but they also work for independent reading.
My students will learn about each amazing role model every two to three days. From there we will have worksheets to support our reading. I will attach photos of the great work they have done.
Thank you again for all you have done for our classroom. We greatly appreciate it.”

What a Studious Learner Looks Like
Funded Mar 27, 2018By having a camera within our classroom, our day to day learning has changed. Our students are extremely artistic, therefore having this outlet to practice their photography skills as well as simply seeing themselves in a photo, has changed their learning. Many students are now coming out of their shell and wanting to be in front of a camera, allowing their social skills to increase. One student in particular couldn't understand why we would want a camera in the room. She wasn't warm to the idea of seeing herself as a learner. Once she saw her friends open to the idea, she allowed herself to get a photo taken. That photo of her reading on our rug is now displayed at her desk on a daily basis. She is seeing herself as a reader and wants to increase this behavior. Our class thanks you for this opportunity.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple and one other donor.Pencils! Pencils! Pencils!
Funded Feb 21, 2018Thank you again for your contribution towards our project. Students have sincerely appreciated our pencil sharpener and have continued to use our materials every day. They were so excited when they saw we got a package, our first Donors Choose of the year! This led us to an engaging conversation on your organization and what you do for us. With our initial pencil sharpener breaking, we were devastated. Not many of our students had hand held sharpeners, which made life a bit hard. But thanks to you, not only will our current students thrive, but so will the next students in this classroom.”
