iPads will be used in the classroom by the students. They will be placed as a center station. The iPads will give them access to sight word apps that will help them memorize, recall, and identify their sight words in a fun way. Students learn best with practice and repetition. It is sometimes difficult to find learning activities that are fun and engaging for kindergartners, especially when it comes to sight words. Learning sight words in Kindergarten is an essential skill that will help my students become strong readers. My goal is to give them as many opportunities as I can for them to reach this goal.
