  • Flexible Seating

    Funded Jun 5, 2018

Wow! Thank you all so much for your support and helping fund this project! My students will be ecstatic to hear they will each have a unique seat when the new school year starts. It has helped so many of students with their concentration and get excited about school. We are setting a trend in the entire school as many teachers have asked about our new seating choices in our room. As a result, many more classrooms will be making the decision to offer flexible seating options for their students. I was able to use many gift cards from the original project to purchase additional seats that that kids requested. Thank you all again for your generous donations and your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Daley

  • Flexible Seating So Students Soar

    Funded Feb 9, 2018

We are absolutely loving our flexible seating options. Students are so excited to come to class and are engaged in learning. The standing pods are fun to rock on while at the high top table. The low tables are great for sitting on the floor to work. We have to make sure we are being fair by sharing the rockers and the couches, of course. With the extra donations we received, students asked to purchase more books for our classroom library. Your generosity has made a a great impact and we are so grateful to you all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Daley

I have a goal to transform my classroom into a flexible seating space where kids have many choices of what type of seat would be most comfortable while creating, collaboration and learning. Consider where you sit at home to read, work on the computer or play a game. I am more productive in a comfortable seat and I have a hunch my students will be, too. Some folks prefer to stand while they work, which is why I also have plans to add a high top table in my room. Others love sitting closer to the ground with a clipboard so I have ideas for cushioned rockers as a choice. For those kids who love to tilt or rock (and often fall out of their chair), I have selected stools that wobble which will keep them safe as the wiggle and fidget. I am extremely excited to have an engaging learning space that matches the physical needs of my energetic, active 3rd & 4th graders. I greatly appreciate your consideration in donating to my cause.
