Getting excited about reading starts in Kindergarten! The more I am able to help my students learn to read and become excited about what they are reading, the more they will love to read and learn! We have reading groups everyday during our Daily 5 time. Students rotate between me, Book Boxes, Word Work, Writing, and Listening to Reading. During my reading group and their book box group, students practice reading books at their independent and instructional level. I want the students to learn how to pick books of their interest, as well as at their level. We need books!
