This project will give students an amazing opportunity to engage in meaningful outdoor gross motor play throughout the long Alaskan winter. Alaskan preschoolers brave all kinds of weather throughout the year, outdoor play is an integral part of our early childhood experience, and sledding is a joyful part of every winter here in Alaska. With these sleds students will be able to safely and independently engage with the winter environment around them while participating in fantastic gross motor exercise. Our preschool class will embrace the opportunity to sled together with our school family.

About my class
