. One of our goals for our basketball lesson in PE is to teach students to be better shooters. Shooting the basketball properly is one of the hardest skills to teach in the game. Also teaching students what to look at while shooting a basketball is just as difficult. Hand placement on the ball is very important when it comes to shooting the basketball. With the SKLZ Square up, students will be able to see where their hands should go on the ball. Second the SKLZ Square up will allow students to see the rotation of the ball as it leaves their hands. This will allow the students to fix their follow through while shooting. Next many students don't know what to look at while shooting. With the SKLZ Shooting target, the student will have a visual on where to aim. With these new tools, I am hoping to improve the shooting skills of our students, and help build our basketball program.
