Some of my students are non-verbal or have very little expressive language. Having iPads in my classroom would give them the ability to participate and express their wants and needs. Communication is something that most of us take for granted but is a daily struggle for most of my students. They often get frustrated and it interrupts academic instruction and affects their ability to learn. iPads in our classroom would give my students a voice and a new level of independence. They love technology since it is very engaging. There are also various learning apps that the students would be able to benefit from.
